Aprill Showers

Today I learned a new skill, silver-leafing, the process of applying a silver foil to the base of cloth using a liquid matte medium as an adhesive. It proved very difficult for all of us, because it was a fragile material and it continued to rip and tear. However as the day progressed we improved on how to successfully apply it. It’s purpose is to trim the base of the interior walls in the gallery so that it makes the pieces look evenly placed once installed. Interesting day to say the least…
Sadly, I can’t post images, my mac charger died again today, this is a brand new one I just received last friday… So currently I’m distraught.
